How do I sign up for Greenfields high speed Internet?
If you live in one of the communities listed above, the equipment needed for the high-speed Internet is already installed and tested in your home prior to your move-in date. The cost for this basic service is included in your Homeowners Association Fee.
You have one data outlet in your home that is currently activated for the high-speed Internet. If you would like more than one data jack activated with Internet, please see our Home Networking section below.
How fast is the Greenfield Internet Service?
While our basic speeds start at a minimum of 5.0 Mpbs download on all projects (which is at least 5x faster than DSL), Internet packages vary depending on the community you live in. Please click on your community link above to see what speeds are available in your area.
What affects my connection speed?
When you connect to the Internet using Greenfields Internet, the speeds that you will experience will vary based on a variety of factors, including the following:
- Configuration of your computer
- Your home networking configuration and the number of home computers and other equipment sharing the bandwidth
- Network or Internet congestion
- Server and router speeds of the websites you access
What other services does Greenfield offer?
Besides our basic Internet package, Greenfield also offers Digital Telephone (VoIP), which is available anywhere in the world, and Cable TV which is available on selected projects. Is the Greenfield Internet Service Always On?
Yes, Greenfield Internet Service is active 24/7, however we are continually improving our network to bring you better services. Such upgrades and improvements may require an occasional disruption to the service. These disruptions are rare, but necessary, and usually occur between the hours of 12:00 AM (midnight) and 6:00 AM.
How many e-mail accounts come with my Greenfield Internet service?
Basic Greenfield service comes with 10 email accounts and 50 Mbps of e-mail storage. Having multiple email accounts allows each member of your household to have their own private email or even your own business email. Click here to set up email accounts
Multiple email accounts allow other household members to have their own private email accounts or you can have personal and business email accounts. You can set up your additional email boxes with our account management tool.
Do I have a dynamic or static IP address with my Greenfield Internet Service?
