Greenfield Communications, Inc. (Greenfield) was formed in 2001 to provide turn-key Fiber to the Home (FTTH) solutions for Developers of new master planned residential communities. Our telecommunication services include voice, video, high-speed data and a community Intranet. With eleven active FTTH projects and over 5,000 customers, we are steadily ramping up our workforce to meet the continued demand. Greenfield is currently designing eleven more communities, and has secured contracts for an additional 22 more projects representing over 250,000 homes.

We differentiate our self from others in the market space through knowledge and expertise in outside plant design, construction and operations, and through understanding of customer service requirements. We recognize that developers are looking to differentiate their project and we will work with the developer’s marketing team to best sell the services and the idea of a ‘future-proofed’ fiber optic community.

Greenfield is currently the largest privately held turn-key FTTH communications provider in the country, based on the number of FTTH communities being deployed. Our future includes steadily increasing our market share and remaining the leader in the deployment of FTTH communities.

Design

As part of the design process, Greenfield develops a master plan for the development, followed by complete conduit designs, Headend/NOC design, and fiber optic cable/splitter/splicing designs. All FTTH systems are designed to be completely passive (requiring no electric power in any of the outside plant) with no above ground pedestals which produces an aesthetically pleasing and very reliable communications system. Greenfield is a certified Passive Optical Network (PON) designer. The FTTH networks have a capacity of over 150 Mbps to each home.

Construction

Greenfield performs all Construction activities including material procurement, Headend/NOC installation, cable pulling, splicing, and complete turn-up/testing of the system. We have construction and project managers dedicated to specific projects, ensuring adherence to construction schedules. Once construction is complete, as-built drawings are prepared and customer databases are established. Greenfield is a licensed contractor in the states of California, Arizona and Nevada.

Operations

Greenfield operates, monitors and maintains the FTTH network including 24/7 monitoring, call center and tech support services. Greenfield also provides in-home tech support and customer tutorials, with on-site field representatives dedicated to building relationships with both builders and end-users to ensure the highest quality of customer service.

Communications Services

We research each property that we work on to customize a telecommunication package specific to that region and customer base. Greenfield provides for all communication services including high-speed broadband Internet connections (basic package starting at 5.0 Mbps download and 2.0 Mbps upload), Expanded Internet services for small businesses, Community Intranet Design, Digital Telephone, Cable TV and other expanded communication services.
