Troubleshooting Tips
Reset your receiver
When you connect to the Internet using Greenfield's Internet, the speeds that you will experience will vary based on a variety of factors, including the following:
- Watch for the remote control low battery indicator on your TV screen and be sure to replace the batteries in your remote control as necessary.
- Check that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4.

| Installation of Dish 381 Receiver |
Connect the Remote Antenna → Connect Audio and Video to TV → Then follow steps below |
- Plug the QAM signal into TV Antenna/Cable In.
- Plug receiver into electric outlet and turn on the receiver.
- On the remote hit Menu, then choose System Setup then Installation.
- Click on the Sat/QAM Mode. The receiver will be set to Sat. Mode, change this to QAM mode. The receiver will ask to be reset, click ok.
- Once the receiver is back on follow step 3 again.
- Select the Scan Range 483MHZ to 861 MHZ then hit Scan.
- The receiver should see 46 Transponders when done. If not, run the Scan again. One Transponder missing will cause the receiver to work improperly.
- Once the Scan is complete, cancel out of the Menu until the receiver starts its download.
- After these steps are complete you can call Dish and get the receiver authorized.

| Installation Instructions For The Dish Network HD 211 Receiver |
Connect Audio and Video to TV → Then follow steps below |
- Connect satellite 119 to the satellite input.
- Plug receiver into electric outlet and the receiver will turn on by itself.
- The receiver will lock on to the 119 feed. The signal strength bar will be green. Then use the remote and click on the done button. The receiver will then ask you if the signal strength bar is in the locked position. Click yes.
- The receiver will then download programming information. Then it will go right into programming the receiver’s memory. 15 minutes aprox
- Once this is complete, turn off the power to the receiver and disconnect the 119 feed.
- Install the QAM feed into the in port of the Q-Box. Then connect the receiver to the receiver port on the Q-Box.

Turn on the power to the receiver. Using the Dish remote follow these steps
- Go to System Set Up
- Then go to installation
- Then Point Dish
- Now click Check Switch (This will see the Q-Box) the receiver will say in order to view channels available to your Q-Box the receiver must restart click yes.
- Now follow the steps in number 7 again. This time instead of Point Dish there will be a QAM Setup option. At Terra Lago our scan range is from 483MHZ to 861MHZ. Hit Scan. The scan should pick up 46 Transponders. If the receiver does not pick the entire 45 then most likely receiver is defective. Don’t waist to much time on a defective receiver. It is better to just grab a new one and start over and send the bad one back to Dish.
- After these steps are complete you can call Dish and get the receiver authorized.

| Installation of the Dish 625 DVR Receiver |
Connect the Remote Antenna → Connect Audio and Video to TV → Then follow steps below
The 625 will only work for one TV
|
- Take two feeds from the 119 Sat. and place them into Sat. 1 and Sat 2.
- Plug receiver into an electric outlet.
- On the remote select Menu, 6, 1, 1. This will bring you to the Point Dish screen. Select Check Switch. The receiver will then check the inputs and find the 119 feed.
- Cancel out of each Menu screen until the receiver starts to download its Programming Information. Once this is done, power off the receiver and disconnect the 119’s feeds.
- Take the QAM feed and place it into a Two Way High Frequency Splitter. On each end of the Two Way Splitter place a RJ6 jumper. You will need four of these. From the splitter connect the cable to the input of the Q-box. Do this for both Q-Boxes. Then place a jumper from each Q-Box to the Receiver. One Q-Box will be used for Sat. 1 and one for Sat 2.
- Power on the receiver and the receiver will turn on by itself.
- Follow step 3 again this will bring you to the QAM Setup.
- Enter the scan range from 483MHZ to 861 MHZ then select Scan. You should end up with 46 Transponders.
- After these steps are complete you can call Dish and get the receiver authorized.
