Online Account Management
Our browser-based VoIP Control Panel (VCP) allows you to manage your account, configure CallBlast (our combination of Call Forwarding and Find-Me / Follow-Me), view all calls (received, dialed and missed), manage your voicemail, update your 911 Emergency Calling address, and download applications for add-on services like Softphone. You simply log in from the home page of this site using your UserID and Password.
CallBlast
This revolutionary feature is a combination of traditional Call Forwarding and One Number (Find-Me / Follow-Me) services. You can have your VoIP calls ring simultaneously on your office, mobile and home phones, or they can ring sequentially in any sequence and with whatever delay you decide to set. You can even configure it to ensure that any messages are left on a different phone's voicemail (your mobile phone's, for example, if you are traveling and don't have access to your Greenfield service).
If you want to be found, CallBlast makes sure that you will be! CallBlast is easily configured from your VCP.
Call Waiting
Works just like your old telephone company's service, but you don't pay extra for it!
Caller ID
You'll know who's on the line — in an instant, at a glance. Again, it's included as a standard feature, and it works with Call Waiting as well.
Free On-Net Calling
Feel free to call other Greenfield digital telephone customers! Your friends and family can use our service all over the world and there is never a charge to contact them.
Voicemail
You get a very sophisticated voicemail system with personal greeting, and have the option of forwarding voicemails to your email inbox as MP3 files and/or being notified of voicemail on your mobile phone or alpha pager. To access it, either dial 00 from your VoIP handset, or dial your Greenfield number from any other phone followed by pressing the * key once the announcement starts. You'll then be able to retrieve or set up your voicemail. You can also manage, listen to, or download and save your voicemail from your VCP.
Take Your Service with You
Your Greenfield service can be used from anywhere on the planet you have Internet access. With our Softphone, you can easily use your service from hotels, airport departure lounges, Starbucks' WiFi hotspots, etc.
Message Waiting Indicator (MWI)
If you have unheard voicemail and your phone supports MWI, then the MWI light will blink. If your phone does not support MWI, you will hear a warbling or stuttering dial tone when you place a call.
7-digit Calling
If there's one area code you call frequently, even if it's not your own, you can configure your service so you only have to dial 7 digits for these calls. In your VoIP Control Panel, under the Features Tab, set the Country Code to 1 (US/Canada) and the Area Code to the one you dial frequently, then click Apply to save the settings. If you forget and dial the Area Code at some point, the call will still go through properly.
3-Way Calling
By pressing the Flash key when you're on a call, you'll get a second dial tone and can place a second call. Hit Flash again, and all three of you are conferenced. Again – this feature comes as part of our standard package.
